Key coverage for our Sailboat insurance policies

Liability	$3,000,000		Material or bodily injury arising from the ownership, use or maintenance of the insured watercraft.
Pollution	The amount of your liability		If the pollution is the direct result of a risk covered by your policy, we will cover the costs.
Wreckage removal	The amount of your liability		If you are legally obligated to remove the wreck of the insured boat, we will cover all necessary costs.

Agreed value on total loss	Insured value	Depending on the conditions of your contract	If mentioned in your policy, compensation will equal the insured amount stated in your contract, without depreciation. You will be asked for a purchase contract or proof of value when the policy is issued. This coverage is offered to sailboats up to 10 years old.
Value increased by 10% in case of total loss	Market value increased by 10% (up to $10,000)	Included in actual cash value contract	In the event of total loss, compensation will be increased by 10% on the market value of your personal watercraft at the time of the incident (or on the insured value if less than the market value).
Sails and covers protection	Insured value		Coverage of sails and covers without depreciation for sailboats up to 5 years old.
Loss of use	$2,500 / $5,000 for sailboats valued $150,000 and more	Included, amount can be increased	Reasonable additional costs and/or charges for renting a similar watercraft after a covered loss, up to the amount specified in the Special Conditions of your contract.
Emergency towing	$5,000		If your watercraft becomes unusable (empty gas tank, mechanical breakdown etc.), we will cover emergency towing to the nearest point where repairs can be made or fuel delivered.*After a covered loss, towing fees are automatically included and not limited to this amount.
Damage caused by rodents	Insured value		We cover damage caused by rodents or zebra mussels.
